Room Slide Installation

Perhaps one of the strongest selling points of Happijac's horizontal room slide mechanisms is the fact that they are so incredibly easy to install, adjust and maintain. This revolutionary slide design is so easy to install that it is rapidly redefining the room slide manufacturing industry. Although the particular steps involved in the installation of these slides may be greatly customized to each specific application they are used in, The basic steps described below are common to every case.


Initial alignment

As Happijac Room slides come in a pre-squared frame from the factory, it can simply be placed on the floor and squared up with the outer wall.



Bolt to the floor and outer wall

After the slide mechanism is squared off with the outer wall, it can then be bolted to the floor and attached to the outer wall. Support structure for the moving floor can then bee attached to the extension rams


Fine-tune the timing

All Happijac Room slides feature the revolutionary advantage of being able to fine tune rail timing on the fly. Simply pull and hold the spring-loaded drive shaft to disengage the motor and manually advance or retract the drive mechanism of each rail independently. One turn moves the mechanism xx of an inch. This feature allows quick compensation for misalignments to achieve a perfect, trouble free seal with the outer wall every time.


Hook up the wiring

The wiring may now be connected per the provided diagramed instructions which basically consist of connecting the slide to the power source and operation switch.
