General Terms and Conditions
Limited 1 year Warranty
All products manufactured by Happijac Company are warranted for one year from date of purchase against defects in material or workmanship. Any defective part will be repaired or replaced (at Happijac's discretion) without charge when returned, with transportation prepaid, to Happijac Company. There are no other expressed warranties except as set forth above, and any implied warranties are limited in duration to that of the express warranty. This warranty does not cover any damage due to misuse, negligence, or accidents. There is no warranty covering consequential damages, incidental damages, or incidental expenses including damage to property.This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
All defective material must be returned to the factory via prepaid shipment. A return authorization number (RMA) must be obtained from Happijac Company prior to returning products for warranty repair or replacement. Upon inspection and determination of claims warranted, the factory will repair or replace the material at no charge and return the repaired or replaced material to the customer with freight prepaid by Happijac**. Happijac limits its field warranty obligation to minimal and reasonable expenses associated with removal and packaging of products for warranty return. Field warranty service or repair is not authorized and claims for field warranty work will not be honored by Happijac.*** Any unauthorized repair or alteration performed on a Happijac product will immediately void all warranty claims and/or rights.
RETURN FOR CREDIT
No material shall be returned for credit without express written permission from Happijac Company. Return the material(s) to Happijac Company via prepaid shipment and upon inspection and acceptability a material credit will be issued, less a 15% restocking fee.
Camper Jack Warranty Repairs
* Happijac Camper Jacks are precision engineered and manufactured to very exacting tolerances and standards that are strictly controlled at the factory. Due to the manner in which the internal parts interact to maximize performance and safety, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ENSURE SAFE FIELD REPAIR of these jacks where the proper training, tools, and testing procedures and equipment are not available. Jacks repaired at the factory are tested and must pass all safety and operational standards. Any attempt at unauthorized field repair could not only result in poor jack performance but also increase the risk of jack failure.
** If upon inspection the problem is found to be other than a defect in material or workmanship and therefore not covered under the terms of this warranty, the customer will be advised prior to repair. Any repairs subsequently performed will be charged at the current Happijac rate for time and materials. Repair costs, along with return shipping costs, will be the responsibility of the party returning the jacks for repair. Charges must be prepaid prior to return shipment via check or credit card, or shipment will be sent C.O.D. for repair costs and return shipping.
*** TO ENSURE PROPER REPAIR AND CONTINUED SAFE PERFORMANCE, ALL REPAIRS MUST BE MADE AT THE FACTORY unless prior and specific authorization is obtained in advance of repair. Case by case authorization for minor field repairs may, in rare instances, be granted. Prior and written authorization (letter, fax, email) must be obtained from an authorized Happijac employee who will issue a work authorization form for the specific repair. Claims for field warranty repairs received without an accompanying work authorization form will not be honored.
